We have full time first shift openings for TIG/MIG welder fabricators. TIG welding is a plus. Starting pay is $18+ based on experience and skill
The difference between this and other welding positions is that this is not a production welder or welder fitter type of work. A setup welder might be a closer match: the welder fabricator has to learn how to look at the shop drawings, interpret what is required, lay it out, cut the material and fabricate the product. They may work on six or more totally different products in a week, each requiring different techniques. Lots of thinking and problem solving will be required. They need to be able to visualize how the product goes together from a two dimensional drawing to a 3D object.
