Industrial Electrician

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, as well as hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.

Specific Responsibilities:

Install electrical equipment; run conduit such as: EMT, Rigid and MC Cable.
Troubleshoot electrical components such as transformers, motors, panels, PLCs, and VFDs.
Install, maintain and repair electrical systems such as: switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, induction heaters, conveyor systems, lighting, and power supplies.
Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures by using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters or oscilloscopes to ensure system compatibility and safety.
Inspect systems, equipment or components to identify hazards, defects or the need for adjustment or repair, as well as to ensure compliance with codes.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus or components by using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Pay based on experience. $18-$36/ hr.
